Republic of Ireland
A standard delivery charge of €6.50 will be applied to all Republic of Ireland orders under €100. Orders placed before 11am will be dispatched the same day, provided all items are in stock at the time of ordering.
Please note: during peak seasons (back to school & end of terms), we aim to dispatched all orders within 3-5 working days. Please allow an additional 3-5 working days for your order to be delivered with An Post.
Additional delivery charges may be applied to orders if heavier items are ordered, however, you will be notified of this before the orders dispatch.
All parcel deliveries are shipped with An Post, you can track your order using the link below. Please allow 3-5 working days for your order to be delivered.
By placing an order you are agreeing to availing of the An Post no signature required service for handy delivery even when you are not home.

How Long Does a Backordered Item Take to Arrive?
It depends on the item. Where possible, we have added availability dates to the products. You will see this when viewing the product page.
Stationery – 3-7 working days
Literacy Resources (Letters & Sounds, Oxford Reading Tree etc..) – 10-14 working days

What if I Want my In-Stock Items Delivered & Have the Backorders to Follow?
If you would like all in-stock items in your order to be dispatched ahead of the backordered items, you will be subject to an additional shipping charge of €6.50. This can be requested by contacting one of our customer service team, via email or phone.
No Hassle Returns
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase as long as the product is in perfect condition and in its original packaging; in this case we will be happy to refund or credit the original price of the item. You are responsible for any returned goods until they reach us so we recommend you obtain proof of postage. Returns and exchanges will be processed as soon as possible after arrival. We regret that postage, packaging and insurance costs of returns cannot be refunded. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Special Orders
Items which are “Special Orders” are ineligible for return. If special order returns are accepted a restocking fee of 7% will be charged and store credit will be issued.
Please note, all furniture items & made to order items are strictly firm sale and will not be accepted for return or exchange.
If items returned are not in the original packaging, we are unable to accept them for either credit or full refund.
Unfortunately some smaller items we sell are firm sale and are not applicable for returns due to the high amount of orders that come back damaged. In the event you do choose to return these items (either through your own courier or our An Post returns system) and they arrive back damaged, we are unable to process the return as they won’t be sellable. We highly recommend keeping items like these instead of returning them. Our customer service will be in touch in the event of this to ask if you would like us to repost the item out to you (a fee will be charged of €6.50 per box), or if you would prefer for us to dispose of the item(s).

Received the Wrong Item?
We aim to send you exactly what you ordered, however, in the unlikely event you receive incorrect items for any reason – please get in contact with us via email at info@trimpostoffice.ie. Emails are monitored Monday – Friday 9:00-17:30 GMT.
Missing an Item?
If you notice the missing item within 5 days of delivery being completed please get in contact with us via email at info@trimpostoffice.ie. Emails are monitored Monday – Friday 9:00-17:30 GMT and we will commence an investigation.
What If My Item is Faulty or Damaged?
If you think the item you received is faulty or damaged – please get in touch with us at info@trimpostoffice.ie. or 0469438866, within 5 days of receiving your item. We will do everything we can to make sure the matter is solved as quickly as possible.
Can I Exchange the Item?
At the moment we are unable to exchange items through our online returns system. We can refund your entire order as per our policy and you can place an alternative order for your preferred items.
Some of My Order is on Backorder What Does This Mean?
When an item is on backorder, this means we do not have the stock in our warehouse. If the customer orders an item on backorder, our purchasing team will order this from our supplier and allocate the stock as soon as it arrives.
